The part about the Federal Reserve says that a central banking system was created in order for big bankers to take over the world...

The narrator says that "King George outlawed the interest free, independent currency the colonies were using" and then goes on to imply that it's bad that the current US currency isn't backed by gold

I think the currency the colonies were using was just as useless as our current currency is, so the narrator should decide what he's really supporting

I also just don't see the big deal about our money being given value by how much of it is in circulation. When Mr. Tomashot first told me this (I think he told me this?) it was kind of shocking but after thinking about it, what really makes gold of any more value than our currency?

The Franklin quote "The refusal of King George III to allow the colonies to operate under an honest money system, which freed the ordinary man form the clutches of money manipulators was probably the prime cause of the Revolution" seems to have the purpose of giving credibility to the movie, like Franklin is affirming everything the guy said

but upon examining Franklin's words he could easily have been talking about taxation without representation, a well-known cause of the revolt

the narrator also says that the Federal Reserve is a private corporation, but I think it's more accurately described as collectively government-owned private banks?

The videos i watched were the ones about religion.

The videos talked about the paralles between various religions and how they derived from the pagan religion. It talks about how all religions are based upon the sun. That the earliest people saw the sun as the life giver. The dark left people in danger, so the sun was their savior. Also, it talks about how the religions are based around the zodiac. Hoe the different ages work and their conctions to the end of the world as a misinturpration.

I am not a religous person in the first place, so i can buy into this conspiracy easier than someone who believes in a mythology. I actaully did some research after watching the video. If I didn't I wouldn't be any different than the people who believe in a religion. I reseached some of the gods that were mentioned in the video and found the similarties that the videos stated.

At the end of the video, the narrator says that the government created Chirstianity just to control people. I do not doubt this at all. The vadican ran Europe for 1600 years. The ten comandments are suppose to keep people in line. Why wouldn't the government try to keep people in line?

There is no proof of a "greater power". Religion just gives people security.

I watched all of the videos on religion and they really didn't tell me anything new from what I learned from books like "Angels and Demons" and "The Da Vinci Code". There really isn't a problem with concept of religion its more about the coruption of the people that run it.

THe whole thing about how Christianity preatty much stole all of their ideas from Egypt and other civilizations is a fact. And the term "pagan" is used out of place now days. When someone says pagan they automatically think of like satanist, it seems like the vatican did a good job on gettin that propoganda out.

And wheather or not you think jesus had "supernatural" powers is really irrelevant, all you need to know is that he was just a good man that tried to preech a good and equal existence between all people, I think that is good enough to be remembered as one of the most important human beings of all time.

(Rant alert)
I hate when people discriminate aganist people and they use the excuse that god says that they are unworthy and deemed less than human. That may be in the old testament but dosen't jesus always preech that you should help everyone nomatter what and not hurt anyone no matter what the reason.

Me personally I believe that the new testament is more relevant to todays times than the old testament. And I am way more cofindent that jesus exsisted than god does, but I still believe in both. There is just more evidence that he was alive than that is a god at all.

Okay so this video blew my mind! I watched the religion one. Well, I was going to watch the first and ended up watching all three because it was so weird!

How crazy is it that the basis of almost any religion can be traced back to astrology? And when you think about it, the entire concept makes prefect sense, as man developed naturally the sun was worshipped because it had warm connotation. So if all of religion is based off of astrology there isn't a savior or messiah or whatever each religion calls it. I didn't realize the connections that could be made between the son "dying" and "rising" literately being the SUN! All of the parallels they draw make perfect sense when you think about it. The 12 disciples being the 12 constellations, the virgin birth being Virgo on December the 25th, and the names all referring to the sun or light. And it’s remarkable how similar the story of Horus and Jesus are…seems a little irrational that there would be two births by virgins with sons that similar. I feel like Christianity just stole all their ideology from the ancient Egyptians.

I can buy the whole “religion being worship descended from paganism” thing. But I am a spiritual person and I think there’s something but I loved watching Zeitgeist and having a good laugh at organized religion. I mean honestly, they even took the whole flood idea from the Epic of Gilgamesh? They could've at least been a little more creative.

These videos kind of make you wonder if perhaps religion was never supposed to become what it has. It makes you think that it was just for tracking the sun and time and such but people blew it out of proportion with stories that people believed.

I watched Zeitgeist (Religion Part 1).

After the video I did some research on Horus, the first God they mentioned in the video. I read the legends on Horous. All of the stuff about 12 disciples, crucifixtion, and dying weren't in the legends at all.

I specifically looked for Horus's birth. He was born of Isis who sucked the essence of the dead god Osis. Osis was dead because the God set had killed him in a great battle.

I also looked for different names of horus. Zeitgeist said a name of Horus was Lamb of God. I didn't find that. Instead I found Great Black One, Lord of the Perch, Horous the Avenger, Horous the elder, Lord of the finger, the Good Horous. Only The Good Horous closely resembles Lamb of God and you have to make a strech for that.

Ashely said that the government created christianity to control the people. Christianity orginally appeared around the time of the Roman empire. The Roman empire actually disapproved of Christanity and persecuted the Christians for many years. Persecution eventually stopped when the two things happened. The Christian majority grew too large and government officials were converted to Christanity.

I'm pretty sure this video is full of a bunch of stuff that isn't true.

I read the one on religion also.

They talked about how Christianity was based on Egyptian religions that were in place hundreds of years before the birth of Christ. They also spoke of Christ being a pagan deity reflecting the sun. The conspiracy of Christianity being based off of mythical figures and formed around lies.

I suppose I never really bought into the whole Christianity thing as a religion but I more of believe in the spirituality. It was fascinating to find out about the other gods and similarities of their "stories" and of Christian relgious figures. I suppose I am not going to go around voicing the oppinions of the Zeitgeit guys but I will consider the ideas and maybe look into it more. I do believe that religion can be a security blanket for some which is good. Without the thought of Jesus some people may feel lost and suicidal. Ok I know that sounds stupid but some people really do find comfort in the idea of higher power, like they arent alone.

1) The Federal Reserve states that a central banking system was created for international bankers to make money. Bankers met in private on Jekyll Island off of Georgia to create a bill for a central banking system. Once they had agreed they sent to Congress through Nelson Aldrich, passing the Federal Reserve Act. McFadden states that the passing of the bill will be the downfall of the country.
2) The conspiracy discussed in the video is that currency at the disposal of the national bank could destroy the stability of the United States
3)I buy into the theory because the banks loan out money with interest. When they loan out they also print money with interest driving the country into debt. Then they loan out that money with interest to the people putting them in debt. The cylcle is ongoing debt and there's no way for the banks to pay it off, even after the consumer pays it off.

A) I chose Zeitgeist-the movie-World Trade Center. The whole video was split into four parts.
The movie was very interesting!!! The tape talked about explosions occuring from the inside of the WTC after the planes had crashed. It talked of President Bush and his connections to the Bin Laden family. It claimed that Bush was meeting with Osama's older brother on the morning of 9/11 at a group function. Part 2 of the movie talked about the Pentagon, and how no evidence of a plane was found; it was thought that the plane disintegrated due to the heat of the jet fuel, yet human bodies were still intact. There was also no evidence as to the plane that crashed in shanksville. The movie mentions evidence of molten metal from WTC 7, in the center columns. The video is trying to prove that the building was demolished by a controlled demolition; that someone cut the central columns or melted them. Otherwise, the planes could not have caused the buildings to fall; they were built to withstand crashes. The government said the buldings collasped due to fire. The system that is supposed to help when unidentified planes are flying, NORAD, headed by Dick Cheney, failed in helping 4 times, while they normally have 100% accuracy.Bush and Cheney acted suspiciously while meeting with the 9/11 Commission, not allowing recordings and insisting on being together. The video is trying to convince people that 9/11 was a government related job; not the job of terrorists, but the job of the CIA. In Part 4, the video gives examples of other bombings that occured at other times in history that were the result of the CIA or FBI. They try to say that the FBI was responsible for the 1993 WTC attack; that they paid a terrorist to build the bomb and give it to his followers to plant in the WTC. The video basically gives examples of why 9/11 was an inside job due to the physics of it and the overwhemlming evidence.

B) The conspiracy, which they finally actually say in part 4, is that 9/11 was an inside job. They are saying that the U.S government staged a "false flag" attack on its own citizens so that they could persuade them to follow their agenda. 9/11 was done by our own government so that we would be persuaded to trust our country more and follow their agenda.

C) This is a very hard thing to NOT buy into. The evidence seems all too clear that some sort of inside job was going on. For starters, the physics of the way the buildings fell proves that they were bombed or melted from the inside of the building. From the rate at which they fell, a plane could not have done this. Secondly, the video talked of how there was never any hard evidence that showed that 9/11 had any connection to Osama Bin Laden...the government had based their evidence on tapes that Osama had made "admitting" his involvement, but the movie said that it wasnt him in these videos; the man in the videos had conflicting physical features to those of Osama. Evidence of planes in the Pentagon or one of the other crashes in shanksville could not be found; how can you not find evidence of a plane! The FBI confiscated the tapes of nearby buisnesses that showed what really happened and never released them to the public. I can see the government doing such a thing as bombing the WTC towers to persuade the American people to follow its agenda; however i do not want to believe any one would be so heartless as to kill their own country for their own benefit (besides dictators). I guess it is just the type of thing you would not expect from Americans. I don't want to believe that this conspiracy occured but I can't help to think that it may have. There is too much evidence to say that an inside job on 9/11 was not plausible. I mean,Bush and Cheney seemed very shady as to HAVING to be together without recordings or anything during their meeting with the 9/11 Commission. It makes it seem as if they are up to something. So I must say I do buy into this conspiracy. There is way too much evidence to say that there is absolutely no conspiracy at all. There is at least something small here, if not huge.

**On a side note, this video was creepy with the music and random blinds that flashed on and off the screen...it helped in the convincing though; it gave it a very creey "conspiracy" mood.

I'm done now, I promise.

I watched the first religion one, and I can't say that I'm a big fan.

A) It basically said that all of the spiritual beings are based on the sun and the constellations.

B) I'm assuming from what I saw, and what I've read, that the conspiracy is that religion is fake, that organized religion is the bad guy and stole everything from pagan religions.

C) How do we know that all they say is true? Alex even said that his research showed that the stories about Horus were wrong. I looked up the dates for crucifixion and it didn't even start until at least 1880 BC, so Horus most likely wasn't crucified in 3000 BC. We can never really know anything. Anything can be twisted or manipulated. This video proves that. Maybe organized religion really is a conspiracy, maybe it really is totally fake. I don't believe it though. I believe that Jesus was real, that God was real, and I even believe in fate. So it's all up to people to form their own opinions. If it weren't for the conspiracies people would never question anything, and that would be really boring.

1. I watched the video about religion.

2. The conspiracy discussed was that religion was copied for many centuries and based on the pagan rituals of sun worshipping.

3. A lot of the information presented in the video was interesting and made me think about the foundations of religion. There are many odd similarities between religious deities through the centuries, but i am not sure of my opinion after watching the videos. They seemed a bit fabricated and fake to me but could be true, i will have to research some points and then re-evaluate my stance, but the videos did make me think.

A) The Zeitgeist video i watched was about the federal reserve.

B) The conspiracy was mostly saying that there is, a small, elite, highly educated, extremely wealthy people that control the united states and other parts of the world and are in charge of the international bank(s), and how they plan to create a one world government through the creation of the NAU the AU the African Union and the EU. The creation of the federal reserve was the first foothold for the elite and the mass media has been silenced to prevent information to become loose. Also he blamed George W. Bush Homeland Security and the rounds for usual conspiracy theory.

C) I do not buy into it because the facts dont seem to match up. Also he blames religon for the cause of censorship which if he looked into the religons he would find that the scriptures dont preach conformity and censorship but do just the opposite and really should be considered a force aginst the one government world. He also blammed Geroge W. Bush for the 9/11 attacks but really the terrorism started because of Bill Clinton and his affair. He i feel spent some time and found connections in history but truely arent so related only seem that way, there are reasons why certian wars happened. The whole thing wasnt supported by any citations and he could of made most of this up.

A) I became interested in the conspiracies proposed by Zeitgeist and watched the entire movie.

B) There are three parts, the first being religion, second being 9/11, and the third being the Federal Reserve. The religion section proposes that the Christian God is a plagiarism of other ancient gods who were representations of the Sun. The 9/11 section says that September 11th was a planned scheme to get the U.S. to invade Afghanistan and Iraq. The third and final section dealing with the Federal Reserve claims that the United States is run by the Federal Reserve who truly controls the United States. The conclusion at the end of the movie claims the elite who truly run the world are planning to unite the world under one all controlling government. Supposedly this government will have chips embedded into every human being. This chip will be used as currency, identification, and even as a tracking device. If you disobey the government, your chip will be turned off and you will essentially be removed from society. According to Zeitgeist, some of these chips are already in place today.

C) I have mixed feelings about the video. It was extremely convincing providing fact after fact that proves its point with absolute certainty. However, I do not know how many off these facts were true. Most forms of media when proposing conspiracy theories provide you with facts regarding strange occurrences surrounding an incident and then propose the “conspiracy” behind this event. If the majority of the facts stated by Zeitgeist are true, then I believe without a doubt that the conspiracy it proposed is true. I have tried doing a little research regarding some of the facts and have found that different sources often have conflicting information making it very hard to find the truth about some of the “facts” Zeitgeist proposed. However, the Zeitgeist movie told of many things coming in the future that would lead to the unified world government. Firstly, an old friend of a member of the Rockefeller family (one of the main families behind the Federal Reserve) told him in 2000 of the 9/11 attacks and the invasion of both Afghanistan and Iraq. Rockefeller also told him that the next invasion on the list would be Venezuela. Also, Zeitgeist said that by May of 2008, the United States government will begin forcing citizens to carry identification cards that can be scanned. This which has yet to happen is the supposed beginnings of the chips that will be used to control the people of the world. Finally, Zeitgeist said the dollar will be abolished and the new currency, the Amero, will take its place. If the United States invades Venezuela, starts forcing us to carry identification cards, and adopts the “Amero” I will likely become one the crazed conspiracy theorists that make movies like this. Until then, I think I’ll be okay.

The vidoes that I watched were about religion.

The video just talked about the paralles of different religions and about pargans. It also talked about religion is based arounf the zodiac and that people used to worship the sun.

I don't believe in these theories at all but I do think that Zeitgeist made some interesting points.

The one that I found the most intersesting is how government created Christanity. It does kinda make sense, in a way. The government wants society to get along as smoothly as possible so why not make something up that will control the people even better than they already do now.

A. I watched part 2.
B. Part 2 is draws attention to all the unexplained things that happened on 9/11.
C. I think there is a conspiracy behind 9/11 because there is no way that a collapse on the top floors of the WTC could knock down the entire building, the beams they showed in the pictures were obviously cut, and there were obviously explosives planted in the buildings that caused fires and helped collapsed the structures. Also, there was no evidence that a plane hit the Pentagon or wnet down in PA since the government covered everything up and said that the planes were "vaporized." Jet fuel and air-to-air missiles cannot vaporize aircraft aluminum.

I watched the video on religion. It talked about Christianity being based off of ideas from various pagan(though that term is used far too broadly these days) religions, with ideas like December 25, virgin births, crucifixions, and resurrections being common ideas in several different cultures.

There are, as Chuna pointed out, many factual inaccuracies in the movie. However, Hinduism and Greek mythology both make several mentions of virgin births. And the Romans did indeed celebrate a holiday on December 25(the feast of Sol Invictus, a sun god). I'm certain that some aspects of Christianity were 'borrowed' from other cultures(if nothing else, the date for Christmas was), though just how much is debatable. It seems rather common for religions to build off of other ones. For example, Buddhism is based heavily on Hinduism, Islam is based heavily on Christianity, and Roman mythology merely renamed the gods from the Greeks. I'm not sure if this warrants being called a conspiracy, though. Religions seem, to me at least, to be collections of moral teachings (with some respect for authority thrown in, of course) with some interesting stories thrown in that aren't really meant to be taken seriously. They provide a nice way for people to feel secure about themselves, so that's good.

A) the content of the video I chose was the religion one. Zeitgeist the movie explains how religion is really fake and how jesus isn't real and or how he is the same in a lot of other different religions.
B) in the video I chose... The conspiracy is that jesus and god aren't real and how there is more astrological science on how the planet was made. Also that churches around the united states keep the economy flowing because so many people believe in the craziest religions and together donate billions of dollars.
C) I buy the conspiracy that jesus is not real. I support this with the belief that science is was what made us. Not some dude who took his rib out and made a wife with it. Our physical bodies are the craziest working machines. Just to think of what one cell in our brain does is absolutley mind blowing. Just to think one man could do this is just not logical to me. I do however feel that there is something of higher power that made us. I just do not feel like his name is "God." The fact is that I belive science is better proof than just belief in a man. The second thing is that religion, I think, keeps the world revolving because soooo many people belive and donate. And many wars are over religion. And we have recently learned that war keeps the iron triangles in play.

I watched the Zeitgeist on the Federal reserve. This entitled the conspiracy of the federal reserve actually making money that has attached debt on it. I don't buy this for a second. I mean possibly the government would want to keep the people secluded and working all the time but I think the chances of that would only result in a Revolution.

A. The video I watched was religion(part I). In this movie, they are discussing the influence of constellations and other Egyptian religions that occurred before the birth of Christ.

B. The conspiracy discussed involves the foundations of religion. The conspiracy is also whether or not religion is real.

C. Since I am an active Christian, I do believe in the Christian faith. I think that the constellations theory is designed to get people thinking and no one can prove the validity of this argument because people will believe whatever they want to. This video makes me wonder if Christianity is really a reversed version of Egyptian beliefs. I know that there are many similarities between the lives of Jesus and Horus but i cannot buy into this conspiracy without investigating this topic more.

i chose to watch the "zeitgeist" video on the 9/11 myths. this video told how much of the int information given to the public was false because of our government hidding something from us. from osma ladin to the hijackers, somehow our assumptions or beliefs were untrue. there were lots of pictures of the towers falling to the ground. the conspiracy had to with 9/11 being a planned inside job.
i dont by into the logic of this conspiracy. i think when it comes to desprate times people also need someone or thing to blame. in this case, people decided our government had to be a part of the terrorist atacks on the US. i think if we reviewed the 9/11 towers falling we could see how the structure of the building ended up collapsing because of the fire and not because of bombs set off inside.
